Special consideration is given to the accuracy needed and to the role that each instrument will play in the automation of the process. Maintenance issues are reviewed and lifetime installed costs are considered.

This thorough examination of process data, automation role, installed cost, and lifetime cost allows Interstates Instrumentation to specify the right instrument for each application.

Customer preferences are given high priority. However, if our analysis indicates that a better solution exists, customers will be made aware of alternate solutions. Ultimately, we believe that the customer should be allowed to exercise their judgment as engineers; our designers will collaborate with the customer to specify their instrumentation package.

The instruments and valves that Interstates Instrumentation specifies are selected from various vendors and manufacturers. A single manufacturer or vendor cannot provide the best-qualified instrument for each application in a processing plant or manufacturing facility.
